Russian School of Newcastle is a community Russian language school established in 2018, currently serving around 30 students. We are part of the Community Language Schools program and provide Russian language courses for native speakers of Russian, as well as for families and individuals interested in the Russian language and Russian culture.
Our classes focus on developing Russian language skills — reading, speaking, listening and writing — alongside age-appropriate cultural content such as fairy tales, songs, holidays, nature and architecture. Students are grouped according to their age and language level.
We offer small-group education for children and teenagers aged 3–17 years, with classes capped at up to 15 students per group. Separate programs are available for students learning Russian as a native or foreign language. In addition, we offer online Russian language classes for adults.

Learn MoreAs a dedicated teacher at our Russian Language school, I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where bilingual students can strengthen their Russian language skills. Given that our students live in English-speaking environments, I focus on helping them maintain and develop their Russian through targeted lessons in grammar, reading, writing, and mathematics. With a diverse age group ranging from 2 to 12 years old, I tailor my approach to ensure each child receives the right level of challenge and support based on their individual needs. My goal is to foster a love of learning while ensuring students gain the language skills and confidence they need to succeed in both Russian and English.
